Merry Xmas

Merry Xmas 2011 to all Hackintosh netbook users. During the next days I will try to make another effort to get OSX running on the Asus X101. Stay tuned.

What for?

Just a short while ago when Apple had no netbooks there was a real movement of "hackintoshing" on a few Intel Atom-based CPUs with surprisingly good results. But today there are so many netbooks and different models so that there are nearly no further information on which one is working with OS X. No one is doing the task to follow up and/or publish his success installing Snow Leopard or even Lion on his netbook. Besides, the old Atom N270 is merely used and a lot of devices got different CPUs such as N280, N450, N455 etc.

I will try to gather the available information and how-to's on this blog since it may help those who want to "build" their own little Mac. Any infos from others are welcome.
